Are all dental services covered by insurance?

Dental insurance is a benefit that helps with dental costs. Every insurance plan is unique in terms of which procedures are covered.  In addition, some procedures may only be covered up to a certain percentage, or they may be restricted to a frequency limit or other exception outlined by the insurance company. Contact your insurance company or our office for more detailed information regarding your dental benefits.

Can I setup a payment plan?

We strive to keep the financial portion of your dental care as easy as possible. Copays or out-of-pocket estimates are collected at the time of your dental visit. We also offer payment plans through CareCredit, a third-party lender designed to cover medical or dental expenses. Interest-free rates are available. For more information, see CareCredit.com. Applications for credit may be completed on their website or in our office.

As a courtesy to our patients, we contact your insurance company before restorative or extensive treatment, such as fillings, crowns, or bridgework, are performed. Based on the coverage and fees designated by your insurance company, we pre-estimate your out-of-pocket expense prior to starting the procedure. By taking care of your estimated copay at the time of service, there is less likelihood of large additional payments being due later. However, these pre-calculated copays are estimates. Any balance remaining after insurance has processed would be the patient’s responsibility.
